Delivery, Installation & Recycling Information
Delivery
We offer a delivery service within Northern Ireland only.
When we receive your order we will contact you by phone to arrange a delivery date and time as close as possible to your chosen delivery date that you selected at checkout. In some instances we may be able to offer you a delivery date sooner at no extra charge. All deliveries are carried out by FMC Appliances.
Our Standard Delivery Service is from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. Depending on your postcode and value of order, there may be a small delivery charge which will be calculated during the checkout process. .
Free Local delivery is available to the following postcode areas for most order values over £200. BT42, BT43, BT44, BT46, BT51, BT52, BT53, BT54, BT55, BT56 & BT57.
Our Next Day Delivery Service is available within a 20 mile radius of Dunloy on orders placed before 4:00 pm.
We also offer a Delivery Service after 6:00 pm Monday to Friday and all day Sunday.
Delivery service is to ground floor only unless a working lift is available.
Some appliances such as American Style Fridge Freezers may require a site assessment prior to delivery. Should the item not fit your doorway, it may be necessary to remove doors from the appliance. If the appliance doors have to be removed, a charged will apply. If this still does not allow for access, we will assess and give you our best suggested solution. Please note that it is your responsibility to either measure or allow access for measuring to avoid this. Once unpacked, an appliance cannot be returned without a restocking fee, which may be up to 25% of the purchase price.
When you receive your delivery, please inspect it and inform our delivery persons if you notice any signs of cosmetic damage immediately. Whilst we take pride and care when carrying out deliveries, we will not be liable for any accidental damage that is not notified within a reasonable period otherwise we will deem that your item/items are in perfect condition and we will be unable to exchange the item..
In order to ensure a quick and safe delivery, we ask that you inform us of any special requirements or site related restrictions that may hinder our delivery persons. This can include steps, narrow doorways, soft path ways, road or site access etc. We reserve the right to refuse delivery where, in our driver's opinion it would put our staffs safety at risk.
You can collect your order from our showroom between 9:00am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Collections on Saturday is available by prior arrangement.
You are advised to read the instruction booklets supplied by the manufacturers before operating a new appliance. Often problems that may initially seem like a fault can be rectified quickly and easily by referring to this documentation.
Installation
We offer an Installation Service (charges apply) on most items other than gas appliances provided that a suitable Electric/Water supply is within 500mm of the Appliance location. Installation charges are based on a like for like basis, If your kitchen units are sized differently to the new appliance being fitted, you will need to get a professional kitchen fitter to make the necessary adjustments to your kitchen units before we can install your new appliance. If there is any safety risks to our fitters due to poor electrical connections/sockets/wiring, you will require a qualified electrician to make safe said connections/sockets/wiring before we can install your new appliance. If your plumbing connections are in need of repair or changing due to wear, being faulty or unsuitable you will be required to get a qualified plumber to make good said fittings before we can install your new appliance. We are not obliged to provide any alterations or additional equipment of any kind especially involving carpentry or specialist electrician or plumbing expertise.
Product Dimensions as advertised on this site are for reference only and are supplied by manufacturers. These may not include handles and other protruding parts of the products overall size. It is the responsibility of the customer to measure the space where an appliance is to be situated in order to confirm it will fit, including these protruding parts.
Reversing the door on your new fridge, freezer or fridge freezer is not included in the standard Installation service, however we are able to offer this service for an additional charge. Please contact us for further details.
From time to time, we may offer free installation and/or recycling on selected products.
Recycling
We can recycle your old appliance on a like for like basis. The charge for this service starts from £15 per item If you require this service please have your old appliance disconnected from the electric and water supply and sitting outside, fridges and freezers need to be defrosted and all food removed. If we are installing your new appliance we will disconnect your old one and remove it.
Installation and recycling charges can be paid cash on delivery if not chosen at checkout.

Installation Glossary of Terms
‘Freestanding’ refers to products and appliances that do not need to be fitted, but may require the installation of pipework, plumbing or Gas for example. These products are ‘on show’ and not placed behind a door.
‘Built-In’ refers to products and appliances that need to be fitted into a cabinet, or space within a kitchen unit and cannot be used as freestanding for safety reasons.
'Consumer Electronics' Connection is 'Plug and Play' set up only using existing connections. Please note wall mounting and aerial installation is not available but can be arranged separately. Please ask for details.
'Electric' Cooker Connection is only available to existing official Electrical fittings and for freestanding and built-in appliances.
'Gas' We do not offer a Gas installation service. We do not recommend the removal of Gas appliances unless done so by a Gas Safe Registered engineer.
'American Style Fridge Freezer' connection is only available to existing official connections and for freestanding appliances only. Plumbing may be required. Please speak to us directly on your requirements.
